DRIVING FROM PAARL ON THE N1

Open Google Maps

Exit the N1 at exit 47 (Klapmuts / Stellenbosch/ Wellington). Turn left towards Stellenbosch. At the Klapmuts 4-way traffic lights, drive straight on, over the railway bridge. At the next set of lights turn left onto the R45 Klapmuts-Simondium Road, in the direction of Franschhoek. Follow the road for about 3km, past Anura and the blueberry tunnels. Dalewood is on the right hand side, just after High Acres. Please slow down and indicate early. There are signs at the entrance for the Cheesery Shop, a hedge and the name ‘Dalewood Farm’ on the white wall. Dalewood is two farms before Glen Carlou Wines.
DRIVING FROM CAPE TOWN

Exit the N1 at exit 47 (Klapmuts / Stellenbosch exit). Turn right to Stellenbosch. At the Klapmuts 4-way traffic lights, drive straight on, over the railway line and turn left at the next traffic lights onto R45 in the direction of Franschhoek. Dalewood is approx 2 kilometres from the turn-off. There is a lone pine tree, a hedge and a curved white wall at the entrance saying ‘Dalewood Farm’ and a cream sign saying ‘The Cheesery Shop ™’. Dalewood is two farms before Glen Carlou Wines.

Just after Potbelly Pantry and the new warehousing development (on your left) turn right at the traffic lights onto the R45 in the direction of Franschhoek. Drive out of Franschhoek in the direction of Stellenbosch / Paarl. Continue on past L’Ormarins, Allee Bleue and Plasir, to the T-junction at Vrede & Lust. Here, turn left onto the Simondium-Klapmuts road (R45). Go past Babylonstoren. Dalewood Fromage and the sign for the Cheesery Shop, is two farms after Glen Carlou, on the left, as you come up out of the dip. There is a hedge and hidden white wall saying ‘Dalewood Farm’ at the entrance. Please be careful on the hairpin bend.
