Huguenot® at Chopped SA
Our Huguenot® cheese was used as one of the ingredients on the launch programme of Chopped SA which premiered on Food Network last week. In the first episode, the chefs had to make a starter with (uncleaned) calamari, chilli bite mix, mebos, and Huguenot cheese. Chopped SA is on Facebook here.

Dalewood Fromage at the Bastille Festival in Franschhoek
The Dalewood Fromage stand in the Franschhoek Town Hall at this year’s Bastille Festival was abuzz with people nibbling cheese and debating their favourites. The atmosphere in the hall was festive with a saxophonist on the stage and blue, white and red berets, scarves and flags everywhere to be seen. The festival was a huge success and we look forward to being there again next year!

{ NOW BACK IN STOCK } The Dalewood Boland™ is a semi-hard cheese, matured for three months, with a hard rind made in the style of a Port Salut - a cheese that was originally produced in the mid 1800's in France by Trappist monks for consumption at the monastery. It has a relatively mild flavour; savoury and slightly sweet. It's a cheese that has universal appeal with its smooth, velvety texture. The Boland™ is a perfect partner for fruit and enhances any cheese board, but great to just eat on its own! Limited edition, very limited production.

Semi-hard, brushed rind style moulded into huge golden cartwheels. Slow matured for at least 6 months to unlock the flavours from the pastures of the Cape. Medium-full in character with nutty overtones. Delicious in recipes which call for mature cheese or on any cheese board. Available in wedges of between 1 - 6kg.

Now also available in mini bite size portions (25g fingers) and grated.
